What data do we collect?

Our Company collects the following data:

• Precise Foreground Location — Your device's GPS coordinates while the app is open and in active use, to display your position on the in-game map in real time.
• Background Location — If you explicitly grant the "Allow all the time" (background) location permission, we collect your GPS coordinates even when the app is minimised or the screen is locked. This permission is used solely to maintain your game-map position for other participants during an active game session. You will be shown a prominent disclosure and asked for explicit consent before this permission is requested.
• Device identifiers — Anonymous device tokens used for push notifications (optional).
• Usage data — App interaction logs collected through cookies and similar technologies on our website.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you:

Location Data — Collection and Usage

The Battle Force (Mūšio frontas) mobile application collects location data to enable real-time player tracking on the in-game map. Location may be collected even when the app is closed or not in use (background location), if you have granted the relevant permission.

We collect and use location data for the following specific purposes:

• Real-time map display (foreground) — Your precise GPS coordinates are used to show your current position on the shared tactical map while you have the app open.
• Sharing position with game participants — Your location is shared with other players in the same game session so they can see your position for tactical gameplay purposes.
• Background tracking (only during active game sessions) — When you have granted background location permission, we continue to update your position on the map even if you switch to another application or lock your screen. This ensures the game remains consistent for all participants. Background location collection starts when you join a game and stops when the game session ends or you leave the game.

Location data is NOT used for advertising, profiling, or sharing with third-party advertisers.

You can revoke location permissions at any time in your device settings (e.g., Settings → Privacy or Apps → Permissions on Android; Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services on iOS). Consult your device documentation if needed. Revoking background location will not prevent you from using the app, but your position will no longer update for other players when the app is not in the foreground.

How will we use your data?

We collect your data so that we can:

• Manage your account and provide access to game features.
• Display your position on the in-game map in real time, enabling tactical interactions with other players.
• Maintain your map position during background use, ensuring a consistent gameplay experience for all participants in the same session.

How do we store your data?

We securely store your data on Google Cloud servers located within the European Union. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, or destruction.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Account data (name, email) — Retained for the duration of your active account.
• Location data — Real-time location coordinates are not permanently stored after a game session ends. Aggregate session statistics may be retained for up to 12 months for analytical purposes.
• Account deletion — You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data by contacting us at info@mfrontas.lt. We will process the request within 30 days.

Marketing

We may contact you with information about our services or events that we think you might find interesting, but only if you have opted in to receive such communications. You can opt out at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
